I was reading this month's InStyle magazine, just flipping through the pages and i came across this article they had about online shopping/deals. In the article they talked about a company called BirchBox which you pay $10 a month for a box full of goodies deluxe samples of well known beauty brands like Nars, Phyto, Cargo, Too Faced, Benefit, etc just to name a few. They usually send you 5-6samples depending on the month and if you like any of the samples you have recieved you can purchase a full size of that product on birchbox.com and when you purchase something you also recieve points onto your account if it were like sephora and everypoint you have and save you can use it on any purchase you want as long as you have enough points. I'll list the products that i have recieved for this month and next to it ill put the listed price of the full size version.

OVERALL REVIEW:
I think this is a wonderful company, the idea they came across giving deluxe samples for only $10 a month and trying out items you probably would never think you would try. Sometimes the size of a deluxe sample is all you need when being a shopaholic buyer for beauty products you buy something use it here and there and forget about it. with these items you get a good amount of product to be able to use it more than 10x's each. I would like to compare this to sephora's beauty rewards program because to get a deluxe sample you have to spend $100.00 just for one free item and with birchbox you just spend $10.00 for 5 or more deluxe samples! i think this is a great buy and i will be purchasing it every month!

its 1:23 am and im wide awake, will probably be up til 4. i like to pull all nighters for nothing i guess you can say. i just started on the show weeds, my friends have been telling me to watch it and so have my brother and sister and im finally giving it a shot and i must say its very entertaining and surprised i havent started on this early cause now i have to catch up to 5 seasons!



its been so hot lately, i hate everything about hot weather. makes life suck. it causes me to break out because my make up starts melting and clogs my pores, makes me not want to go out, i havent been back to rohr since its been too hot. so i blame you hot weather! im so ready for fall, i love everything about fall. i cant wait to wear big sweaters and cardigans, boots, layers, just everything that feels comfortable! i do this thing where i go onto a website (clothing or make up) and i put everything i like into my cart leave it there for few days and get ideas of what i want to buy in the future and if i really like it like cant stop thinking about it "like it like it" then ill buy it. & ive been doing that and everything i want has been boots, sweaters, and new camera with a good ol zoom. i know i know i just bought a new camera but i use my iphone to take pictures more than my own camera just cause its convenient. now that i think about it i shouldve bought a camera for the quality of the zoom like a 10x zoom and of course the mega pixels..instead of just cause it had a dual screen and thought that was cool. why do we think about regret after we buy things..lol.

as much as i love my high end hair products, it can become very expensive..esp if your paying for a conditioner that's worth $50! going to the drugstore and buying products that work really well with my hair is a big plus. im loving this line and hope to use more of there products.

where else can you get a bronzer, contour, highlight, blush powder for less than $4? this is one of my favorite make up items because it has it all in one and is way affordable and they sell a variety of sets so you can experiment with other colors or find the right compact for you

I dont give the best advice in life, but recently i was having a conversation with someone, and that "someone" was complaining about life and how unhappy that someone was. so what i told them to do is, everytime your feeling unhappy about life write it down. doesnt need to be perfect just write the emotions of how you feel and let it all out on paper.. i told that "someone" i used to do that all the time growing up it started from when i was in elementary school until after i finished high school. i had tons of journals that i've written into. and if i didnt have a journal near me i would write it in a piece of paper and it ended up being a letter and i ended up giving that letter to my bff who i was mad at the time.. my bff recently found the letter, that i wrote to her in high school and she said she read it and it sounded so angry.. haha i told her, i guess i just took out my anger on you a lot but cant you see i dont act like that anymore? hah. i stopped writing in my journals whether it be online or a notebook but i want to get back into it again because i like looking back at my entries and reading them and thinking to myself.."wow i thought that? or acted that way" because i feel like if you want to see change in your life and who you are the only way you know is if you see a different you in the past and who you are today.

since i had a giftcard&birthday money i decided to do some damage with that and spend it at my favorite store Sephora. sephora was also giving 30%off your entire purchase if it was online with a code or at the store and you know i had to take advantage of that! i already knew what i wanted but when i went to the actual store they didnt have anything i wanted :( i was not impressed by sephora so i decided to shop online later that night since they have more to offer online than at the store. i picked up a few things i've been eyeing most of them were on the editor's pick section and these are the things i got.

Clinique Acne Solution Foundation $24.00






i stopped using foundation because the foundation i had made me break out, having sensitive skin is not the business for someone who loves make up. so when i saw this product online and hearing so many great reviews i had to try it out. the price is good and affordable compared to my $45 shu uemura foundation in the past. when i went to sephora to try out the colors they barely had any colors they probably had 5 of them and they were either way too dark or too light. so when i got home i searched online and decided to get fresh beige which is in the middle tan. im usually medium beige when it comes to foundation but i know if i got the next color below it, it wouldve been too dark. the foundation is in this little bottle (smaller than i expected,but good for easy travel) and you dont need a lot of foundation it blends in really well with my skin tone. after i was done applying it it looked like i didnt even need to apply a setting powder, but i did anyways just incase. ive used this foundation 4-5 times and i must say im really impressed, i havent had any break outs yet, but ill give it another week and after that week i should know if this is the right foundation for me but so far so good.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel $12.50








this is my first time trying out clinique products and so far im really liking them. i heard many reviews on this moisturizer. i kind of gave up on moisturizers because everytime i would try one it would irritate my skin and make me break out. a lot of people said since its a gel based formula that its good for acne prone skin so i decided to try out the smaller version and plus with the discount how could i say no? this is the first moisturizer that im in love with and im starting to think i cant live without it. first because i havent broken out from it, it didnt irritate my skin and it doesnt make you look and feel oily once applying it. its oil free and once it is applied it dries up and makes your face feel super soft and ive been noticing a difference when i do use this, i cant wait til i run out so i can buy the big bottle. i also like using it on my neck, it makes it feel soft and softens the lines on my neck.

anytime NARS has a set out i have to get, because its totally worth the money. if you buy one item of nars if its a blush or something that cost roughly about $26 and the blush in this kit is the same size as a regular blush so your getting a big discount buy getting a blush a lip pencil and a multiple. the multiple is the only thing in here that isnt a regular size, but i dont mind. i only tried the deep throat blush once and its very light compared to the famous orgasm blush but i like it, gives your cheeks a soft flushed look, and i tried on the lip pencil, its a light pink sheen to it, perfect for spring. i have no tried the multiple yet, but i will soon. i think this set is perfect for spring and summer and is a wonderful buy. i wish i had a better review on this but later on in the future ill do a better one and post pictures of me wearing it.
